Claro Sports is a Latin American television channel of Mexican origin and is owned by América Móvil, which bases its programming on sports.1 It is distributed exclusively by the television provider Claro TV, except in Mexico where it is offered by operators such as Dish , Axtel, Megacable and Totalplay. The channel acquired the broadcasts for Latin America of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. This channel was a replacement for other signals in three countries: in Colombia, it replaced Claro TV's Channel Versus; in Mexico, it replaced the Viva Sports channel, operated by MVS Comunicaciones; in Venezuela, it replaced the Sport Plus channel or also called Canal Plus, in some cable operators.
