Eleven Sports Italy is an OTT service dedicated to sports. It was launched in 2017, following the global broadcaster’s acquisition of a majority stake in Italian OTT platform Sportube. The successful deal led to Sportube getting rebranded as Eleven Sports, with the country name Italy often added to the network’s name to indicate the region it operates in.

At the time the rebranding was taking effect in Italy, Eleven Sports was expanding to its seventh market. Earlier on, it had made its entry in Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Singapore, Taiwan, and USA. Eleven Sports Italy has covered many sports over the years, including events from Italy’s Serie C football league, Serie A2 volleyball, A1 Series water polo championship, badminton, handball and more. In the past, Eleven Sports has made its events available to stream live on mobile devices and smart TVs in Italy.
