Main Event is a pay-per-view channel operating in Australia. Main Event Television is the company that owns this channel, which can be found on select pay-tv carriers across the country. It was launched back in 1997 in order to broadcast sporting and entertainment events such as boxing matches, mixed martial arts and wrestling events, and concerts, to name a few. The channel was known as Event TV (on Foxtel) and Main Attraction (on Optus Television).

Main Event is the only pay-per-view channel in the country, and some of the most watched events in Australian TV history have been broadcast live by this channel. One of those events was the boxing match between Anthony Mundine and Danny Green on May 17, 2006, which is regarded as the most watched pay-per-view event in the history of Australian TV. Other events broadcast by this channel include Friday Night Football games for the AFL, UFC fights, and concerts by Christina Aguilera and Beyoncé.
