The channel became the first premium sports service in Greece back in 1994, when it was launched under the name SuperSport. The network changed names on June 1, 2008, when it became known as Nova Sports. Over the years, Nova Sports has added channels to cover the wide variety of sports events they have broadcasting rights for.
