About RTVS Sport

RTVS Sport is a public-service television channel in Slovakia. It broadcasts in 1080i and is available terrestrially, as well as via cable, satellite, and online. It is operated by the state-funded broadcasting group Radio and Television Slovakia (RTVS) and is fully dedicated to sports. It first started transmission in December 2021 and its content revolves around live events, sports news, archives, and magazine shows. Sports events covered by the network in the past include the Winter Olympics and Tour de France. In terms of football competitions covered, RTVS Sport has obtained the rights to major UEFA tournaments over the years, including the Nations League and Europa League.
