TRT 4K is the Ultra High-Definition channel owned by the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation. It was launched on February 19, 2015, becoming the first free-to-air channel with that sort of technology in Europe and in Turkey.

Over the years, TRT 4K has been categorized as a general entertainment channel, with most of its programming coming from its sister networks, only upscaled to fit the channel’s format. News, movies, TV series, documentaries, talk shows, debate shows, and sports have all found their way into the channel’s grid.

Speaking about sports, the channel has aired content related to club competitions such as the Turkish Süper Lig, the UEFA Champions League, and the UEFA Europa League, along with live broadcasts. Other tournaments covered on this channel have included the UEFA Euro, and FIFA World Cup games.
