About TV UOL

TV UOL was the first television station on the Brazilian Internet with programming transmitted exclusively over the Internet. Being part of the Universo Online portal, it had its first transmission in 1997, using the VDOLive format - currently, the format used in transmissions is Adobe Flash, having already adopted Windows Media and Real Media in the past. Until 2011, only UOL partners could upload videos to the site. However, from that year on (the same year UOL mais was founded, a multimedia content sharing site that succeeded UOLK , UOL's old social network) the site became open to content posted by users. In 2014 the site received a new look, together with a new system that allows you to follow users, in order to receive the content sent by them.
