About Veronica TV

Veronica TV is a Dutch television channel owned and operated by the Talpa Network. The channel was originally launched as TV10 Gold on May 1, 1995, before being rebranded four times in an eight-year time frame. Eventually, the channel would acquire the name Veronica TV on September 20, 2003. Veronica TV has shared its time-space with Disney XD, and it is intended to serve young adults.

Over the years, Veronica TV has offered to its audience action movies, TV series, sports, reality shows, and more. The channel’s deals with several movie studios from the United States have given the network a chance to air some of the biggest blockbusters of all time.

When it comes to sports, Veronica TV has focused on broadcasting ultimate fighting events and football. Speaking of the latter, the channel has aired games for the Dutch Women’s National Team while also adding broadcasting rights to the UEFA Champions League. Some of the network’s analysts over the years have included legendary coach Dick Advocaat and former Dutch international Ronald de Boer.

Veronica TV started its broadcasts in Standard Definition, but a High-Definition feed was launched in the early 2010s. A downscaled version of this channel may be available for some of the users who have not switched to HD technology.
